1. How can I restrict a search for certain catalogs or directories?

You would like to perform a search for certain catalogs or directories?

  1. Open the list field under Search in and click on Custom selection....

    -> The dialog box Search path selection opens.

  2. For the desired directories, activate the checkbox.

    In this example the "History" of the current year, native CAD parts stored in PARTsolutions and two company part catalogs have been selected.

  3. Under Template name, enter a meaningful name and click on Save.

    -> The name is entered under User defined templates.

  4. Close the dialog and click on Ok.

  5. In the list field, select the created template.

  6. Click on Start search.

    It doesn't matter which kind of search is used (Full-text search, Geometric search, etc.).
