Formed by pressure: DIAMOND Project

CADENAS and the further partners of the DIAMOND Project ensure the future of Europe as an industrial location with a Common Data Model

The International Monetary Fund predicts that the Asia-Pacific region will strenghten its position as an economic power in the coming years and that the European Union (EU) will lose influence. In order to remain relevant, industry in Europe, and especially Germany, must make considerable improvements in the digital transformation in a short time. Accordingly, industry players are under tremendous pressure.

On these conditions the DIAMOND Project has formed, which is funded by the EU and supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. The acronym "DIAMOND" stands for Digital Asset Modelling with Neutral Data Formats. CADENAS has been working together with more than 20 high-carat partners since the start of the project at the end of 2022.

Common Data Model

Stakeholders have identified as a problem that along industrial process chains many different suppliers, using many different file formats in many different systems, need to access complex data. Consequently, the brilliant solution lies in a Common Data Model that provides access to neutral, standardised and machine-readable data across companies for all stakeholders in the supply chain.

CADENAS has more than 30 years of experience in solutions for the exchange of digital data. For this reason, the Augsburg-based software manufacturer is predestined to contribute its expertise to the DIAMOND project.
