3D BIM CAD models also available now in Palette CAD

Architects, civil engineers and planners benefit from the direct integration of the 3D CAD download portal from CADENAS in CAD software

Palette CAD & CADENAS

In February, the new version 9.12 of the BIM CAD spatial planning program Palette CAD was published. A highlight of the numerous innovations is the direct integration of intelligent engineering data of numerous well-known manufacturers based on the eCATALOGsolutions technology from CADENAS. For the first time, over 20,000 users of Palette CAD can search for suitable 3D BIM CAD models from component manufacturers, in particular from the area of plumbing, heating and air conditioning within the CAD system, and import the components directly into Palette CAD. Palette CAD is a provider of professional CAD solutions for interior design planning and a market leader in all relevant branches for digital planning and presentation.

Optimal support of civil engineers and planners

In the CAD system Palette CAD, users can now find a reference to CADENAS under the menu point "Import" and so the 3D CAD manufacturer catalogs:

There are numerous 3D multi BIM CAD models of components available, free of charge, to the users of Palette CAD through the new integration directly in the CAD system.

After selecting and configuring the desired components, they can be imported directly in Palette CAD into the existing design. Architects, civil engineers and planners are thus optimally supported in their design work and construction planning.

“With our users the demand for BIM objects for their designs is rapidly increasing. The parametric BIM catalog from CADENAS represents a very important asset to us. I am sure that this collaboration is heading in the right direct to meet any of the future requirements that the market is demonstrating,” says Dr. Walter Zinser, CEO of Palette CAD GmbH.

"We are pleased that the integration, together with Palette CAD, has run so quickly and smoothly. This way, over 20,000 users of Palette CAD benefit in their daily work by our numerous architecture components and in future also by our BIM components," says Jürgen Heimbach, CEO of CADENAS GmbH.
