7.1.1. Index update

Use this key in geomsearch.cfg to configure the generation of GeoDb:

[settings]
#:VALS_S;Disabled,Create,Convert
#:HELP;Configure indexing of geo db
GeoDbIndexing=Convert

Value range options:

  • Convert (default):

    Topo and partial index are created as in V11 and converted to GeoDb afterwards.

  • Create:

    GeoDb is created directly, and topo and partial indexes are not updated. In this case, the index will not work in V11.

  • Disabled:

    There will be no GeoDb at all. Normally not used, only in the course of problem solving.
