[Note]Note

Default setting is Deactivated. Please regard that the preview requires considerable processing power. If the waiting times are too long, return to the default setting.

In order for the changes to take effect, please close the Chamfer/Fillet dialog and again open it via context menu command Edit.

  • Deactivated (default): No preview

  • Full part: The behavior is similar to the one at Chamfer, but here, the whole part is displayed in the preview color. As long as chamfers or fillets are not yet confirmed, both the original edge and the preview is shown. At an already confirmed blend which is edited again only the chamfer or fillet is shown.

Preview with option "Full part": The figure shows the preview of an edge already confirmed and an edge just being edited (editing mode re-opened).

  • Chamfer: In the preview, the chamfered or filleted edges are not only displayed for the currently edited ones, but for all edges edited with the blend feature. This is the difference to the Change option. For chamfers or fillets just being edited both the original edge (still without material removal) and the preview of chamfer or fillet is shown.

Preview with option "Chamfer": The figure shows 1 confirmed edge and 3 edges just being edited.

  • Difference to the original: The preview shows the material removal (in contrast to the other preview options where the chamfered or filleted edge itself is shown).

  • Change:

In the preview, only for the currently edited edges the chamfers or fillets are shown. At the elements changed before only the edges are visualized (with enabled option Edge visualization, which is the default setting).

A difference between the options Chamfer and Change can only be noticed if an already existing blend feature is edited again.

Preview with option "Change" -- Two edges are being edited, several others are already part of the blend and are displayed with Edge visualization.
