In the PARTdataManager, in the docking window 2D derivation simple Default views such as Front, Back, Top, etc. and Standard Combination views are automatically provided. They are saved inside the 3db file and do not become visible in PARTproject.
In PARTproject, in the dialog area 2D derivation, additional 2D derivations can be managed.
For this there are different methods:
Standard 2D derivations can be modified subsequently. In PARTdataManager, in the docking window 2D derivation, they are then available in the column View with a specific name.
Details on this can be found Section 5.10.2, “ 2D derivation: Enhance Default views ”.
In the sketcher you can also save cuts as 2db file and then select them in the column 2D model.
A specific case for additional 2D derivations are "Shortened views". Details on this can be found under Section 5.10, “Adjust 2D derivations ”.
