On the tabbed page Media variable (in V11 named "Documents") you can manage Media Variables. These can be created for different purposes (PARTtemplateDesigner [3D PDF datasheet function], print projects, assistants, product configurators, PARTcommunity [e.g. tooltip additional information]).
The following figure shows the dialog areas Templates and Variables at a glance.
The dialog area Templates is especially used when working with the PARTtemplateDesigner. See Chapter 10, PARTtemplateDesigner - Create datasheets in eCATALOGsolutions Manual.
In the dialog area Variables, all available Media Variables (keys) are listed.
In and below the level of selection, Media Variables are displayed in black color.
Variables inherited from superordinated levels are displayed grayed out.
