3.2.4. Structure of PARTbom

The PARTbom interface is divided into four areas.

  • Hierarchical view of the Bill of Material (components and assemblies etc.)

  • Display (3D preview picture) of the relevant, selected element in the BOM list.

  • Print preview of order form

  • Table view of the Bill of Material

In the PARTbom footnote you can see one and/or two entries about the number of pages in the form. The left field shows the currently opened page as well as the entire number of pages in the form. 1-1 means page 1 of 1.

The right-hand field indicates whether and by how many pages the page width is exceeded owing to an excessive number of columns. 1/2 means that the number of columns of the current page covers 2 pages.

The illustration (excerpt) shows the first (1/2) and the second (2/2) of 2 pages.
