1.3.8.6.5.3. Index tree in the "Manage index" dialog

Path / Project: The index tree shows the structure of the chosen catalog.

Columns:

The columns show the degree of generation for the respective element as a percent value:

  • Geo: Special algorithms for Geometric search (3D)

  • Topo: Special algorithms for Topology search

  • Partial: Special algorithms for Partial search

The column Partial is only displayed if a catalog has been marked for the partial search via configuration file. See Section 1.7.5.8.4, “ Block [settings] Key PartialSearchCatalogs - Partial Search ”.

  • Full-text / LinkDB: Depending on whether Table mode or LinkDB mode is selected (top left), the respective column header is displayed.

Colors:

  • Red: No index information available (0%)

  • Yellow: Index information available (but not completely)

  • Green: Complete index information available (100%, meaning all fingerprints or text index for all lines … normally complete geo index only recommended / needed for own part catalogs)

Following figure displays directly after a new installation of the DIN catalog with version V12. The Full-text index has to be generated anew, because the pre-generation in the provided catalogs refers to V11 and V12 is using a new type of index. The percent values at standard and supplier catalogs are in the lowest third, because the index normally is not generated for all table lines and some algorithms are missing.
