All New Interactive Design Tool Places the Power in the Hands of Hapman Users

Hapman, an industrial manufacturer of bulk material handling equipment and systems, has recently launched their all-new online interactive design tool for their line of bulk bag unloaders. Powered by CADENAS PARTsolutions LLC, the interactive design tool will enable engineers to instantly configure and design the exact machine they need, making specification of Hapman machinery among the easiest in the industry.

Hapman is best known for their broad line of powder and bulk material handling equipment, serving a wide variety of industries around the world. Their products include tubular drag chain conveyors, flexible screw conveyors, bulk bag unloaders and more.

Formerly, users were unable to configure equipment themselves or to obtain 3D models for their preliminary design. Greg Patterson, HapmanVice President explains, “Customers would call and ask for product details, specs or a brochure. Sometimes engineers would ask for more detail and we would provide a 2D sales drawing. We didn’t think this was sufficient. We saw this as an opportunity to build our relationship with our customers and to provide a better buying experience.”

New, interactive 3D design tool for bulk bag unloader online

Hapman has launched the all new online 3D interactive design tool for their line of bulk bag unloaders, which enables users to design and preview their own Hapman equipment with thousands of possible configurations. Once users have finalized their design they can download the drawing in more than 150 2D and 3D file formats, including native CAD models for the most common systems. Additionally the interactive design tool has built-in capability to instantly submit the design to the Hapman sales team for a quote.

“We see this as a big step toward providing the best possible experience, by providing the latest in technical support for customers evaluating and purchasing industrial bulk material handling equipment. The tool will also enable us to do our jobs more efficiently at Hapman. We will get better application insights which will provide a streamlined process for quoting and purchasing, while delivering a great customer experience,” explains Patterson.

Hapman will initially launch the interactive design and configuration capability for their core equipment offering, but will continually add more products over the coming months.

“It’s great to see our solutions embraced by a company who really gets it,” says Rob Zesch, President and COO of CADENAS PARTsolutions LLC. “Hapman recognized an opportunity to build a closer relationship with their customers by providing on-demand access to powerful design tools and critical product data. Customers will love how easy it is to do business with Hapman.”
