HiCAD Architecture Format available on BIMcatalogs.net
CADENAS constantly increases the number of native formats of manufacturer catalogs for architects and civil engineers
Architects and civil engineers can download needed 3D BIM CAD models in various native CAD formats on the BIMcatalogs portal. Another format has now been added: HiCAD (3D) from Version 2011 on is available now and that since December.
Implement simple and highly complex projects with HiCAD
The CAD system HiCAD of the software company ISD is being used cross-industry. HiCAD is mainly being worked with in steel construction and in glass, metal and facade engineering. Simple and highly-complex steel construction projects as well as facades can be implemented with HiCAD. Users receive support from the first draft of the design to finished production line.
With the document and drawings management in the building trade, parts and drawings are transferred directly into the PLM system when the design is saved. Thus the users have constant access to the most up-to-date design data, drawings and parts lists. The recognition of parts without a drawing, the automatic updating of drawings as well as the index mechanism and configurable, graphic approval workflow offer additional security in project processing.
Why use native formats?
Contrary to neutral formats, native formats have additional intelligent design information so that the components can be used optimally in the respective CAD system at once without manual rework. By using native formats, the user does not have to convert or manually supplement the parts information. Therefore, the engineer has more time for his actual creative activity and saves costs.
