Precision work with the newest version of the 3D CAD Model App

CADENAS New PARTcommunity App version impresses with trend-setting add-on options

As of now, CADENAS' PARTcommunity 3D CAD Model App is available in the newest 2.2.4 version. Besides small tweaks/optimizations regarding function and design, the app now also has two completely new features:

3D CAD Modelle App von CADENAS mit TransparenzfunktionThe most important innovation for mobile use is the new transparency function for 3D view. At the touch of a button you can look inside the structure of a selected component or an assembly. The default transparency of 70 percent can be freely adjusted by the user, so the  view stays clear at all times.

The integrated 2D dimension display also supports a better overview. With it, an uploaded 3D model can be displayed as vector or raster graphics. In doing so, the generated 2D projections show precise indications about the actual dimensions of the displayed model and allow easier comparisons with other models. Another convenient function is the revised download of CAD models via email. Whenever a selected component is sent to the working environment, it is automatically equipped with a 3D view of the selected part. This way the user can already identify the downloaded 3D CAD files in the inbox without having to first download them into his CAD software.

Native App for Android and iOS

The PARTcommunity 3D CAD Model App has so far been the only app of its kind, specially developed and optimized for the Android as well as Apple's iOS system. With it, engineers and purchasers from mechanical, plant and automotive engineering have direct access to more than 400 certified manufacturer catalogs with millions of components that can be directly viewed as 2D or 3D CAD model on a smartphone or tablet. Moreover, the CAD models can be downloaded and integrated via email into your own development environment.
