3.1.6.8.2. Status bar

In the status bar the following information is displayed:

  • Date of the currently displayed project

  • Number of lines in the currently opened table

  • Currently selected user and role (in the above figure "location - Location 2")

    (Displayed with ERP integration)

  • User status:

    • Admin / User

      By default, this is "Admin". In this way administrative tasks can be conducted in the individual modules.

      • Under PARTdataManager -> Extras -> Preferences the Administrator tabbed page is available.

      • Settings for the geometric search can be performed.

      • In PARTadmin catalogs can be deinstalled.[72]

      • Changes performed In PARTadmin affect all users.[73]

    • Dev (Catalog development)

      Display depends on license.

      If "Dev" is displayed the respective context menu commands for catalog development are displayed in PARTdataManager.

      • Edit with PARTproject

      • Generate image data/preview images

  • AppServer status

    If the AppServer is active, in PARTdataManager, right below in the status bar a respective icon is displayed. The tooltip provides the respective information during mouseover.

    There are five categories which can be shown at mouseover (depending on setting):

    • Search service

    • Login service

    • Database service

    • File system service

    • Index service

    If a connection is established is displayed otherwise .

  • Messages available

    If the icon is displayed messages are available. When clicking on the icon the docking window Messages opens.
