2.10.1. Create preview images in batch run

You can create preview images (e.g. for the index tree) in an automated process:

PARTdataManager has to be installed.

Before starting, update the Display index. Hereto in PARTproject, click on the respective toolbar icon .

  1. In PARTproject, in the context menu of a project or directory, click on Generate image data/preview images.

    -> The dialog box Export images is opened.

  2. There, choose the option Generate previews.

    You can leave the default settings.

  3. Click OK.

    Details on the creation of preview images can be found under Section 5.8.2.1.14.3, “ Generate image data/preview images with batch run ” in eCATALOGsolutions Manual.

  4. In PARTproject, in the context menu of the desired project, click on Open with PARTdataManager.

    -> Now the preview images are displayed in PARTdataManager.
