7.13.4.1. Provide required parts for configuration

  1. Under training/subassembly/finished, beside the original configuration traeger_schelle_asmcfg.prj, create your own new one.

    For this, under finished, click on the context menu command New project.

    -> The respective dialog box is opened.

  2. Click on Open with PARTdesigner.

    -> An empty configuration is opened.

  3. Click on Add Part.

    -> An Explorer window is opened.

  4. From the directory .../partsolutions/23d-libs/training/subassembly/profile insert the dummy starter part and in the dialog box Part properties perform respective entries.

    [Note]Note

    Description and Equation name are displayed in the docking window Configurator under Parts.

    The Equation name is not changeable later!

  5. From the directory .../partsolutions/23d-libs/training/subassembly/profile, enter the file din_1025_s.prj (single part "T-beam") and in the dialog box Part properties perform respective entries.

  6. From the directory .../partsolutions/23d-libs/training/subassembly/din3015 insert the file din_3015_cfg.prj (assembly "pipe clip") and in the dialog page Part properties perform respective settings.

    -> Now in the Configurator, the parts dummy starter part (D), double T-beam (T) and pipe clip (PC) are displayed.

  7. Save the configuration. At the first time the dialog box Save configuration project appears.

    Enter Project name and Short name.

    These entries are saved in PARTproject under Settings -> General -> General as Standard number and Standard title in addition.

    Activate Append free connection points automatically.
