2.5.1.2.7. Duplicates in classifications

In the course of quality management it is checked whether different parts have the same Order number. As of V11 SP8 this process can now simply be performed.

  1. Call the command Create duplicate analysis....

    -> The same-named dialog box is opened.

  2. Settings

    • Under Search type, select the option Textual.

    • Activate the option Variable filter.

  3. Click on the icon Add classification attribute and in the CNS classification, select the attribute Order number.

  4. Start the analysis by clicking OK.

    -> The duplicate suggestions are listed.

It's also possible to select several attributes. If, for example, both Order number and Type code is inconsistently set, nonetheless a duplicate suggestion is given, if the same value is found either under order number or under type code. Then for this the option Search variables all together has to be activated in addition.
