The index generation directly under category Index administration does exactly the same, in principle. However, there, only complete catalogs can be selected (one or multiple). In the dialog Manage index also single folders, projects and even lines can be selected.

In the following, the generation of the Full-text index is shown exemplarily.

  1. On catalog level, click on the context menu command Add project to full-text index generation.

    -> The tabbed page Index generation is opened. Under Select project, the desired path is already entered, the checkmark already set at Generate full-text index. When using Add, you can still add more projects and directories (what does not make sense in this case as catalog level is already selected).

    Adding is also possible by drag&drop.

  2. Click on the button Start generation.

    -> Under Status of index generation the progress is displayed.

    -> After finished generation the dialog is automatically updated and the Full-text index is displayed with 100%.

  3. If you are working with ERP integration and the catalog to be indexed contains LinkDB projects, click on Add project to LinkDB index generation. and repeat the procedure analogously.
