As of V9.08 SP1 you have the additional option, when generating preview images or exporting image data, to make sure that all parts get the same alignment automatically.
Therefor select the checkbox Automatic equal alignment.
Then all parts are aligned with their longest side to the X axis. If there are two "longest" sides, one side is randomly selected.
