Semi finished products can be classified as such.^[42]

Under Edit project -> General -> Classification > Attributes (CNS), the feature CNS_RAWMATERIAL can be set to 1.

	Note
	Within workflows with PDM systems, semi-finished products are differently handled, e.g. not checked in into PDM systems. Furthermore semi-finished products are no standard parts, which affects the write protection, meaning changeability. Important in connection with semi finished products is setting the correct Identification type. See Section 7.8.13, “ Identification type ”. Semi-finished part - Dimension attribute pinned In PARTsolutions with ERP integration the behavior of fields with dimensioning attribute can be administratively controlled.
