7.9.6.8.  Add radii

With the function Radius with 2 elements , you can create a rounding between two elements. However, if you want to create chamfer on multiple edges of a polygon at once, you are faster when using the function Add radii.

[Note]Note

The command is only displayed in the context menu of polygons (rectangle, hexagon and N-sided polygon), not with polygons created from manually assembled lines.

Example:

  1. Select the object to be chamfered in the Sketch history.

-> The dialog box Polygon radii is opened.

  2. Enter the desired Radius and confirm with Ok. You can enter a freely defined value or a table variable.

-> The roundings are added in the Sketcher.

-> Furthermore the single roundings are created in the Sketch history. They are according to those created with the function Radius with 2 elements .

  3. Subsequently you can now perform changes at single (or multiple) roundings. Select the desired ones in the Sketch history or in the Sketcher.
