The Excel presentation happens on the base of CSV files.

  • The listing on the right (ViolationsDescriptions.csv) shows a subdivision according to the error groups basic, certified and premium. Each group points out what is missing in order to get the respective certification level.

    For each error code, the number of counts is displayed.

    When opening the single sections the affected article numbers are visible.

  • The bar chart (status.csv) shows the number of products in each status (representation as Pivot).

  • The pie chart (class.csv) shows the distribution according to ECLASS classes over all products included in the log (representation as Pivot).

In the Excel sheets "classe", "status" and "ViolationsDescriptions", you can see the table data which is used for the representation.

XML, Text and CSV files

In the user directory under "validator_reports", you can find all reports created during the generation. Each report includes the following directories and files:

  • The directory DETAILS contains text files with the specifically occurred error codes. Each single text file lists the articles, showing the respective error.

    The file name corresponds to the respective error code.

  • XMLREPORTS: Here, all reports are listed in the form of xml files (generated by the tool for batch verification "ECADPS3VERIFY"). When opening a file in any XML editor, you can see the information displayed in the dialog Extended ECLASS validation report, dialog area Report.

    Explanations on the single XML sections:

    • All sections ending with INFO or WARNINGS or INFORMATION, do not affect the final verification state of a part. These entries basically have information which could be helpful for the modeling process.

    • The section FUNDAMENTAL_ERRORS has entries indicating violations of the ECAD data model; such parts are not certified automatically.

      Datasets without CNSELEK are not considered for the statistic.

    • VERDICT: State of the product

    • VIOLATIONS: Error classes and error codes

      There are three types of VIOLATIONS:

      • Section PREMIUM_VIOLATIONS includes all entries preventing the part from getting the Premium state.

      • Section CERTIFIED_VIOLATIONS includes all entries preventing the part from getting the Certified state.

      • Section BASIC_VIOLATIONS includes all entries pointing out serious design errors; for such parts a successful export into the different ECAD systems is not ensured normally.

  • checkReport.csv: Includes information on the State and the article numbers, asked by the modeller to solve the problem.
