1.3.8.6.5.6. Tabbed pages in "Manage index" dialog

1.3.8.6.5.6.1.  Statistic

[Note]Note

Depending on the chosen mode (Table or LinkDB), the results are related to all table lines or only to the ones existing in the LinkDB.

The information on the tabbed page Statistic always refers to the element selected in index tree.

So select the desired level (catalog, directory or project).

-> You will receive a complete overview on Geo index and also on Full-text index and LinkDB index, namely detailed on indexed projects, lines and fingerprints.

- Projects

  • Number of projects: Available projects in total

  • Number of fully indexed projects: A project is considered as fully indexed if all lines of the projects are fully indexed.

  • Percentage of indexed projects: Information in percent

- Lines

  • Number of lines: Available lines in total

  • Number of fully indexed lines:

Geo/Topo/Partiall: A line is considered as fully indexed if all fingerprints related to respective index type are available.

Text index: A line is considered completed if index information for it exists.

  • Percentage of indexed lines: Information in percent

- Fingerprints

  • Number of fingerprints (only Geo/Topo/Partiall): Sum of possible fingerprints

  • Number of available fingerprints: Sum of fingerprints available in index

  • Percentage of available fingerprints: Information in percent

Tabbed page "Statistic"

After finished index generation the statistic is reloaded in the IndexManager.

1.3.8.6.5.6.2.  Geo index

Select one single project.

-> You will receive an overview which algorithms (fingerprints) are stored for each project line.

[Note]Note

Depending on which mode is chosen (Table or LinkDB), on the tabbed page Geo index, the corresponding lines are displayed.

As in this example only one project line has an entry in the LinkDB, only this one line is displayed.

As in this example only one project line has an entry in the LinkDB, only this one line is displayed.

When selecting "Table" all project lines are displayed.

When selecting "Table" all project lines are displayed.

  • Row title: LineID

  • Column title: Name of algorithm / fingerprints (tooltip explains in which templates the algorithm is used)

In above example there are 32 of 32 algorithms available for each project line.

The following figure is a typical example for supplier catalogs. By default 1% of project lines or 3 project lines in total are indexed. With V12 the algorithms CSL, TOR and FCO were added. In order to get the fully V12 functionality they have to be regenerated.

Here in this example, for 3 project lines 29 of 32 algorithms are available

Here in this example, for 3 project lines 29 of 32 algorithms are available

Element complete

The respective row (characteristic) has all algorithms, thus is considered as complete.

When a project is considered as complete depends on which option had been chosen in the options dialog (see above).

Element incomplete: Not all available algorithms are used for the respective row (characteristic).

Element missing: No algorithms are available for the respective row (characteristic).

Element deprecated: Deprecated algorithms are used for the respective row (characteristic).

1.3.8.6.5.6.3.  Full-text index / LinkDB index

[Note]Note

Depending on which mode is chosen Table or LinkDB, the tabbed page Full-text index or LinkDB Index is displayed.

  • Tabbed page Full-text index

A table similar to PARTdataManager is displayed (without LinkDB columns and information).

    Tabbed page "Full-text index"

    Tabbed page "Full-text index"

For lines which are marked with an icon a Full-text index exists.

    1. Select a single project and a table line.

-> In the below dialog areas the available text index is displayed.

    2. At the bottom left, select the name of a single index element.

-> At the bottom right, then you will see the saved terms belonging to the selected index element.

  • Tabbed page LinkDB Index

    Colors in LinkDB column

    • Green: All lines with existing LinkDB entry are indexed.

    • Yellow: Some lines with existing LinkDB entry are indexed.

    • Red: No line with existing LinkDB entry is indexed.

    • White (-): For these projects/folders there are no LinkDB entries, meaning nothing which could be indexed.

    Table icons

In the table of tabbed page LinkDB index, icons at the beginning of a line signalize which lines are indexed and which not.

    • indexed

    • not indexed

Tabbed page "LinkDB index": In this example, the project "blockzylinder.prj" has 2 ERP numbers. The display of 50% says that only one of the two is indexed.

1.3.8.6.5.6.4.  Explanation of result

Explanation of result

Explanation of result

Tabbed page Explanation of result: Only for internal analysis

For a certain search term, search results (and their sequence) can be displayed. The "Score" for a search result can be seen and how it is composed.

When double-clicking on a search result, the element is selected in the index tree.

1.3.8.6.5.6.5.  Search Variables

Here, search variables related to a project are displayed, including unit and type of the variable and all existing description texts.

1.3.8.6.5.6.6.  Index generation

Tabbed page Index generation: See above example.

Here, the index generation for the different index types is started. The entire catalog, directories, projects or only single lines can be selected.

Elements can be added to the index generation via context menu command or drag&drop.

Add projects/directories to the generation via context menu command

Add projects/directories to the generation via context menu command

Add projects/directories to the generation via drag&drop

Add projects/directories to the generation via drag&drop

In the table views, single lines can be added to the index generation via context menu command Add line to index generation.

After finished index generation the statistic is reloaded in the Index Manager.
