	Il software CADENAS necessario per utilizzare le connessioni JDBC alla banca dati di collegamento è soggetto a licenza e a pagamento. È necessaria una licenza supplementare (CNS20059*DATABASE*JDBC)!

	Vantaggi dell'utilizzo dei driver JDBC: Il driver viene installato e configurato sul server! Non è necessario installare il driver su ogni client, come nel caso di ODBC! Quando si utilizza PARTapplicationServer, il vantaggio è relativo, poiché il driver viene configurato solo sul server.

Driver JDBC I driver JDBC standard sono disponibili all'indirizzo libs/all/java/jar. Altri devono essere contattati dal rispettivo produttore (Oracle, Microsoft) e memorizzato nella directory libs/all/java/jar essere copiato. NON sono installati sul lato CADENAS. Le File di configurazione jdbc.cfg salva il file dati di connessione alla banca dati, vale a dire server, banca dati e in particolare Driver e l'URL per il driver JDBC per creare il driver JDBC Connessione al database.
