In ifrevit.cfg, in the block CadDocumentAttributes, the default key value of "Manufacturer" has been adjusted,^[21]

from

?_CALCNAME.start(0).Format("<CATALOG>").value()

to

?_ATTR("CATALOG")

In the first case (meaning up to now) the catalog name has been taken from the Company key; in the second case (as of V12 SP4), the entry under Catalog name is taken. This can analogously also be applied for the desired attribute in other CAD systems.

Background is that when using the respective value from the Company key, no modifications (e.g. name extension or changes in lower and upper case letters) can be performed (at least not directly, but only via translation table).

In the Part information, under Company, the Catalog name is also displayed.

Basically, each text can be translated, which then also becomes visible in the Part information, for example.
