With the standard variant, sweeps can be created via 2 parallel planes (they do not have to be on a plane mandatorily; the creation of a sketch in the 3D view via Generate sketch on selected face is also possible). The sweep's creation is performed by selecting two sketches and the context menu command Create sweep base or Create sweep cut.
