10.2.  Open existing catalog template

In order to open an already existing template, you have different options:

  • Selection via File menu -> New -> New/Open dialog box -> Open existing catalog template -> List field selection -> Open:

    (Under Project selection, a project has to be selected.)

    This method requires, that all three template files have been applied (<name>.template, <name>.ptdef and <name>.pmt).

    1. In the list field under Open existing catalog template, select the desired template.

      [Note]Note

      If in the existing template there are old PDF files in addition[a], these are displayed for information purposes only and are not selectable.

      [a] created by versions older than 9.04

      You can close the dialog box New/Open via ESC key.

    2. Click on Open.

      -> PARTtemplateDesigner opens with the desired template.

  • Selection via File menu -> Open:

    1. By clicking on Open the Explorer opens with the directory "_templates" selected. All files of the type .template are displayed.

    2. In the Explorer, select the desired template file.

    -> PARTtemplateDesigner opens with the desired template.
