CADENAS push internationalization with new sales structure for Electronic CAD Product Catalogs division

Wolfgang Nagl and Sven Dietrich are excited for many more digitization projects with component manufacturers

The global trend towards digitization is running at full speed and with it the demand for high-quality digital product data of technical components for mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and architecture. More than 3000 manufacturer catalogs on 3Dfindit.com and steadily increasing download numbers of 3D CAD and BIM models speak volumes about the success of CADENAS software solutions. There is also a strong interest in eCATALOGsolutions technology by CADENAS among international companies.

Realignment in the sales team for eCATALOGsolutions and Digital Twins

The answer to these positive developments is a new sales structure at CADENAS: Since April 1, 2021, Wolfgang Nagl has been Vice President International Sales, eCATALOGs & Digital Twins. The current run of success of CADENAS does not surprise him: "Digital data knows no time, no virus and no national borders. Providing intelligent product data in the form of digital twins gives component manufacturers a decisive competitive advantage, especially in the current situation." Nagl strives to provide even better support to companies around the world with the new international orientation: "There are many manufacturers who would like to work with us, but in whose countries CADENAS is not yet represented with its own subsidiary. We want to help these companies achieve digital transformation with our Electronic Product Catalog, too. Our vision for the future is therefore to optimally support every manufacturer in Europe with a CADENAS contact person in their country and national language."

Sven Dietrich takes over the role of Sales Director D-A-CH, eCATALOGs & Digital Twins. He had already gained experience with catalog solutions for component manufacturers before working at CADENAS. Inspired by the constant strive for development at CADENAS, he decided to join the "Innovation Company": "At CADENAS, we are constantly working on improving our solutions in the development department. This makes my work all the more fun, because I get to surprise my customers with new intelligent features in almost every meeting." Dietrich is also looking forward to working even more closely with customers in the German-speaking region: "Through my previous position, I have been able to support many companies in digitization as well as in increasing their sales. We will continue to expand our team to be able to offer our customers even more individualized solutions."

Digital transformation as a key factor for industrial marketers

The eCATALOGsolutions technology by CADENAS enables component manufacturers to provide digital product data as digital twins with extensive, intelligent information, such as kinematics, maximum acceleration and deceleration or working spaces. This means that technical product data can be made available in exactly such a way that engineers, designers, planners and architects can download them in 150 neutral and native CAD formats, such as NX, Solid Edge, Archicad, Inventor, Revit or CATIA, and integrate them into their designs without much effort. This contributes significantly to their decision for a component, because according to an international CADENAS survey among engineers and architects, 82% of the downloaded products are later purchased. Companies with a 3D CAD product catalog by CADENAS also benefit from worldwide marketing of their products on more than 96 online marketplaces, portals and social communities. This allows them to reach a potential of more than 23,943,900 users from over 100,000 companies.
