The following two examples will show the use of the two mentioned templates.

The purpose of the two examples is always the same: Set up the catalog structure = set import path for the item.

You will see that the approach is different in the two examples but the result is the same.

If you have the choice, always work with pdmProxyPdmDocumentI (example 1), as the values can be saved here in an XML file. This XML file can be used as input for a new pipeline. The other procedure is not permanent. It cannot be saved in a file. If errors occur in the pipeline / program, the data is lost.
