Description ( variable description ): A text should be added in the variable manager [Variable Manager] to make identification easier.

Note The description should make sense and not be misused for providing other information. Example: A variable "L" should show "Length" and NOT "+/-0,5", for example.

The contents of the Description field are displayed in the PARTdataManager in the column subtitles of the table.

Furthermore the variable description is displayed in the Faceted search / Filter search. Especially here, misused entries are not helpful.
