7.17.3.  New Drawing

To create drawings, use the New drawing [New Drawing] command.

-> The Sketcher is opened in Drawing mode.

The commands Apply changes [Accept changes] and Discard changes commands are inactive here.

You can save drawings in the following formats:

  • Sketch template (*.hsk)

  • 2D drawings (*.2db)

  • Designer 2D (V3.0) (.dbs)

Furthermore you can import drawings in the following formats:

  • Sketch template (*.hsk and *.skt)

  • PARTdesigner 2D 2.0 (*.dbs)

  • DXF file (*.dxf)
