The XML Reader [XML reader] can read an XML file that has been written by an XML Writer [XML writer].

In Fig. „ XML Writer [XML writer] node“ in Section 1.2.8.3.1, “XML Writer”the XML Writer [XML writer] node was behind the conversion service.

To read, we start the pipeline with an XML reader and then continue with an attribute mapper [AttributeMapper] node.

The input [Input] and conversion [Conversion] parameters must be specified in the XML reader.

  • Input: Storage directory of the XML files

  • File mask: File mask for the XML files (e.g., *.xml, 084904.xml)

  • Conversion:

    • Conversion path: Path used for the conversion (to be found under XML "_conversion_path" or to be copied from the conversion [Conversion] node that generated the XML file)
