In PARTproject you can explicitly determine the default sorting for new directories under Extras menu [Extras] > Settings... > General you can explicitly determine the default sorting for new directories.
The index must be updated after changes.
Select the directory in which you want to change the order of the subdirectories and/or projects.
Call up the context menu command Sort directory.
If there are both subdirectories and projects, these are displayed in two blocks. Select the desired one and move up or down using the arrow buttons.
You also have the option of switching to the other sorting mode by activating/deactivating the Alphabetical sorting checkbox.
