Keys can be in activated or deactivated state. Deactivated keys are not evaluated by applications.

You can recognize deactivated keys by the red x-icon and the gray font color.

You can change the activation status at any time. To do this, you will find the corresponding command in the context menu of a key (activate key or deactivate key ).

Alternatively, you can perform activation and deactivation via Ctrl+A and Ctrl+D.
