[Note]Note

For a better understanding of the examples please absolutely read Section 2.2.1.3, “Variable values - functions ”. Basic concepts are explained under Section 2.2, “Cross-CAD information ”.

Thereof you can deduce how to adjust the examples according to your needs.

[Important]Important

Are you a new customer? Then you may simply use the default settings or make adjustments if desired.

When you like to reuse CAD files in PARTsolutions V11 which have been created with PARTsolutions V8.1 catalogs then you have to make sure that these parts can be found in the V8.1 pool.

Specifically, this means that the directory hierarchy (flat pool or subdirectories ) and the file name must be retained.
