7.12.3.  Duplicate row

Duplicate row can be used to advantage if there are many similarities in rows. This means you only have to adjust a few cells.

  1. Select any cell of the row to be duplicated or a whole row.

  2. Click Duplicate row .

    -> The duplicate is inserted below the selected row.

You can also mark and duplicate several rows at once.

Use the arrow button next to the button to open the Duplicate row dialog. Further options are available here. You can create any number [Amount] of duplicates and you have the two insert options Insert below original line [Insert above original line] and Insert below selection.

The following examples shall clarify the functioning:

Example 1:

Selection of one line and 3 duplicates. If there is only one original line, the selection of Insert below original line [Insert above original line] or Insert below selection is irrelevant.

Result: The duplicates are inserted below the selected original row.

Example : Row 5 has been selected - Result: Three duplicates of row 5 are inserted

Example : Row 5 has been selected - Result: Three duplicates of row 5 are inserted

Example 2:
