2.2.8.5.1. Transfer of the catalog name

In some interfaces, the catalog name from the company key [Company key] is transferred by default. However, this is associated with restrictions, as, for example, no name extensions or changes in upper/lower case can be made.

You have additional options if the catalog name [Catalog name] is transferred.

So for example, at desired attribute, change the value as follows:

?_CALCNAME.start(0).Format("<CATALOG>").value()

to

?_ATTR("CATALOG")

PARTadmin - "Manufacturer" attribute

PARTadmin - "Manufacturer" attribute

In the first case, the catalog name from the company key [Company key] is transferred, in the second case the entry under catalog name [Catalog name].

The catalog designation [Catalog name] is displayed in the part information [Part information] under Company, for example.

In principle, any text can be translated, which is then also visible in the part information [Part information], for example. See Section 5.8.2.1.14, “ Translation ” in eCATALOGsolutions - Manual.
