Controls no section in the 2D view for SolidWorks.

The key refers to ifacecommon.cfg, block [CreationOptions], key "NoSection". Cross-CAD default settings are made there. See Section 2.2.12.6, “ Block [NoSection] ”.

For connection elements such as screws, nuts, rings, pins, etc. the cutting in the 2D view may be excluded.

To add more parts, create a block [NoSection] in ifsolidworks.cfg. For any changes, use the same block and key in the specific configuration file.

In other words: Only those parts will not be cut, ...

  1. where cutting had been excluded in the modeled part itself)

    or

  2. (which are defined in the block [NoSection] (in ifacecommon.cfg)).
