Hatching parameters [Hatch parameter] :

Sectional cuts are marked by hatches in the 2D preview. How these are changed for each part of an assembly can be configured via the following settings:

  • Possible hatching widths [Possible hatch widths]: Different widths have been created to hatch the various cut surfaces of assembly components in such a way that they stand out from each other more visually. You can reduce the selection of widths, but also extend it with additional values.

  • Possible hatching angles [Possible hatch angles]: Specify the angle to be added to or subtracted from the specified hatching angle of 45°.

In other words, if for example you enter the value of 10, the hatch lines show up in the 2D preview at a 55° angle instead of 45°.

  • Alternate angle by 0 degrees [Alternate angle around 0 degrees]: The next set value is alternately added and subtracted.

Example:

Possible hatching angles [Possible hatch angles]: 0.00,10.00,20.00,30.00

In the example, the first hatching angle is therefore 45° (+0°), the second 35° (-10°), the third 55° (+20°) and the fourth 25° (-30°).

[Note]Note

Possible hatching angles [Possible hatch angles] have priority over possible hatching widths [Possible hatch widths]. This means that the set hatching widths are only used once the various angles have been "exhausted".
