3.5.4.6.  Correction of the direction of the BIM connection points

[Note]Note

Please note that connection points should no longer be marked via Revit Classification -> Revit family template mapping (RVT_CP), but via CNS Classification -> Placement Coordinate System (CNS_CP).

You can use the BIM connection point direction correction [Correction of the direction of the BIM connection points] function to change the orientation of Revit connection points (180° only).

Prerequisite: The files cpcorrect.cfg, cpcorrect.def and cpcorrect.vbb must be available at \libs\all\plugins.

  1. Call the function on any catalog directory.

    "Correction of the direction of the BIM connection points [Correction of the direction of the BIM connection points] " dialog box

    "Correction of the direction of the BIM connection points [Correction of the direction of the BIM connection points] " dialog box

  2. The found parts are listed and the detected Revit connection point is already selected.

  3. Check the connection point's orientation.

    If necessary, you can change the orientation of the connection point marked in red by clicking on the icon Reverse connection point direction icon to change the orientation by 180°.

  4. To save, click on the Change / create RVT_CP [Change / create RVT_CP for all parts] button for all parts [Change / create RVT_CP for all parts].
