The previous partial checkout is not compatible with the new one (from V12.10). In this case, uninstall the catalog and repeat the download.

A partial download enables a faster download speed, but only these selected directories will be available later. Please note that some functions may require additional directories. (For example, a link project requires the project to which it points).

A corresponding message appears when you call it up.

To download individual directories of a catalog, proceed as follows:

  1. Select the catalog root directory and click on the context menu command Download catalog from server.

    → The Select catalog dialog box opens.

  2. Select the desired subdirectory or subdirectories (multiple selection with the Ctrl key) and confirm with OK.

    → The selected directory or directories in the catalog and the files in them are downloaded.

    Special directories and files are also downloaded automatically:

    • _fonts

    • _materials

    • material.xml

    • etc.

    Additional directories can be added to a partial download at any time afterwards, or the entire catalog can be upgraded to a normal, complete download by simply selecting the catalog root element.

Partial downloaded directories are marked with a special icon marked. In addition, a corresponding Tooltip.

Some commands for ERP mapping and publishing are not available for catalogs with partial downloads:

  • Generate QA status... [Generate QA catalog...] (at catalog level)

  • Add ERP mapping

  • Edit ERP mapping

  • Perform ERP mapping for the entire catalog [Execute ERP-Mapping for the whole catalog]: If the ERP dialog opens when uploading changes to the server, this button is deactivated. A corresponding tooltip is displayed to explain this.
