5.12.8.2.1. Plugin "Check attribute variables"

Use case for the "Check attribute variables" plugin: When re-editing projects and renaming variables (e.g. order number variables), the variable mapping is sometimes forgotten to be adapted to the classification.

The plugin checks the existence of assigned variables.

Example initial situation: The variable "XY" has been assigned to a certain characteristic (attribute). However, the variable "XY" does not exist in the characteristic attribute table of the corresponding project.

  1. Click on the Check classification with plugins button.

-> The Select plugin dialog box opens.

  2. Activate the "Check attribute variables" plugin and confirm with OK.

-> The QA check [QA-Check] is immediately executed automatically (especially for checking the attribute variables, not an extensive check as with Test project or Test projects in directory ).

-> The respective error is listed.
