4.7.2.37.  "Topology" index page (9.02)

The Topology search is a completely new way to search geometrically. This is not a "rough" search as with the geometric search. Special Properties and (optionally) specific values are searched for.

Such Properties are:

Size Volume
  Surface
  Largest dimension
  Middle dimension
  Shortest dimension
Symmetry Axis Symmetry (symmetric, nearly symmetric, not symmetric)
  Rotation symmetry
  Plane Symmetry
Number of boreholes Number of boreholes
  Number of boreholes with diameter in range
Outer Cylinders Number of outer cylinders
  Number of outer cylinders with diameter in range
Shape Basic shapes (Sphere, Cylinder, Cuboid, Cone)

  1. Via Text Search, Sketch search (2D), Geometric search (3D) or Topology search open the Search window.

  2. Choose the Topology index page and activate the option Perform topology search.

  3. New condition Add

    Click on the button .

    Remove condition:

    Select a properties row and click on the button.

[Note]Note

The combination of searching via Geometry (3D) and Topology is also possible and quickly leads to optimal results.
