Classification at main part:

  1. Part: A class from the group of Revit Family Templates (e.g. Metric Generic Model)

  2. Connection point: RVT_CP or CNS_CP_PLACE_PC (if both are available, CNS_CP_PLACE_PC is taken)

Classification at accessory part:

  1. Part: Revit Metric Generic Model (no attributes have to be set, standards are good!, however, the class has to be available!)

  2. Connection point: RVT_CP or CNS_CP_PLACE_PC (if both are available, CNS_CP_PLACE_PC is taken)

In summary, basically 2 statements have to be made:

  • At the part, Family Template

  • At the connection point, a RVT_CP or CNS_CP_PLACE_PC.
