Many sketches are more complicated than necessary. This applies in particular for imported logos or text.

The function Reduce sketch (experimental) reduces the steps of a sketch as far as possible.

Preferably, use the function via button within the sketcher manually. The option Reduce sketch history on applying Sketcher (experimental) via settings dialog should only be used for frequent use, (as the calculation needs some time).

If the message History element ... is not constant appears after execution it means that the sketch uses variables. Then it cannot be reduced.

If a sketch only contains a circle or rectangle, meaning all steps are relevant, it also cannot be reduced.

Otherwise it is shown to how many elements it can be reduced.
