2.13.1.5.5. Default search path configurable

Now with V11 the selection options under Search in, displayed when opening PARTdataManager or a new search tab are configurable.

Up to now it could be that the selection had to be adjusted again and again before each new search.

Search in

  • all catalogs

  • all classifications

  • all native catalogs

  • Specific search path

Perform the setting in PARTadmin under category Configuration files -> $CADENAS_SETUP -> partsol.cfg-> block [PARTdataManager] -> key TABCONTENT_SEARCHRESULT_DEFAULT_REQUEST_PATH.

In the list field you find the following options:

  • cat: All catalogs

  • cls: All classifications

  • nat: All native catalogs

  • Freely defined paths are also possible. Therefor click into the input field and enter the desired path.

    Example: cat/norm/ansi

Default search path or lastly used one?

With a further setting you can determine whether the set default search path shall be used or the lastly used one.

Perform the setting in PARTadmin under category Configuration files -> $CADENAS_SETUP -> partsol.cfg-> Block [PARTdataManager] -> key TABCONTENT_SEARCHRESULT_DEFAULT_REQUEST_PATH_STARTUP.

In the list field, you find the following options:

  • last: The lastly used search path is used again.

  • default: The search path specified in the key TABCONTENT_SEARCHRESULT_DEFAULT_REQUEST_PATH is used.
