An overview of the most important steps:

  1. Check the prerequisites (AppServer, authentication, appserver-admin profile).

  2. Define a certificate strategy (CA recommended).

  3. 3Dfindit Install Enterprise MSI, Software Version Select "Local" for data and setup from the application server, and specify the application server URL.

  4. PARTadmin ( padmin.exe ) in elevated mode to log in remotely as an admin user.

  5. Under AppServer Cache [AppServer Cache]: Add current Server, Install service, Start/restart service.

  6. Ensure that the service user has a valid SSL certificate and access to the private key.

  7. Configure ports and cache settings (location, size, directory preloading, $CADENAS_DATA separation).

  8. Save the settings to the AppServer by clicking "Save," and restart the service if necessary.

  9. On the AppServer, enter the cache server's outgoing IP addresses as allowed proxies (the CORS host is added automatically).

  10. The Firewall Sharing for pappcache.exe (Ports 9020/9022) .

  11. Change the CADENAS_APPSERVER setting on the clients to the hostname of the cache server.
