8.4. Catalogs: Installation via PARTadmin

Basically, catalogs can be installed via PARTadmin as well as via PARTproject. Choose the way via PARTproject for the QA-managed catalog creation (see Chapter 6, PARTproject QA in eCATALOGsolutions - Manual ).

This section describes the installation via PARTadmin.

For the installation of catalogs, use the online installation via PARTadmin -> Catalog update -> Online (also for a subsequent installation at a later time).

  1. Click on Start and then on Retrieve catalog list [Fetch Catalog List].

  2. Open the @ Catalogs group and activate the checkbox for the desired catalogs.

  3. Dialog area 3 Versions [3. Versions]: The default setting is the option Number of versions =2 (default). Especially for PARTsolutions Enterprise you should set at least 2 in any case.

  4. Click Download/Install selected catalogs [Download/install selected catalogs].

Over 1000 catalogs are currently available for download.
