8.3.2. How can I search for specific variables?

The variable search is possible for some catalogs; otherwise the corresponding icon is not displayed.

  1. Determine the directory level to be searched.

    (If several catalogs are available, at least the catalog must be specified).

    (The variables that are common to all components are then displayed).

  2. Click the Variable Search icon.

  3. Enter a mathematical operator for the desired variable in the Comparison column in the list field and enter the desired value in the Value column. Then click on Search below the input area.

    ➝ The component (or several components) found is displayed.

  4. Click on a search result.

    ➝ The part is opened in the table view.
