3.9.5. Launching PARTadmin

When importing the license from a separate license server, normally there is no PARTsolutions installation available. As you will need PARTadmin, this module was installed along with the license server installation.

Open PARTadmin via the Start menu, in both cases:

Start menu-> CADENAS License Server -> Licenseserver

Background information:

In the installation path of the CADENAS License Server (default path "C:\Program Files\PARTsolutions Licenseserver") you will see the file start.env.

Please note!

Although the environment variables of the license server have the same name as in the PARTsolutions installation, they point to different directories!

The imported license can thus be found on the CADENAS License Server, for example, under C:\Program Files\PARTsolutions Licenseserver\lic\keys.

If you want to copy the license yourself, please pay attention to the correct path.

Storage location of node-locked licenses in contrast, is located in the PARTsolutions Enterprise installation e.g. under C:\ProgramData\PARTsolutions\sitesetup\lic\keys!
