[Note]Note

Each catalog has to be classified by category and distribution country. Furthermore there is also the possibility to classify according to functionality.

The classifications By Categories and By Countries make only sense on catalog level (and require the creation of a categories.prj). By Functionality is classified on project level.

All fitting classifications should be selected in order to support an effective search for products.

The call happens in 3Dfindit, under Catalogs, ...

  • By Categories includes categories such as Electrical engineering, Automotive, Cylinder, Mounting, etc.

    The respective selection is shown in the line for the navigation path.

  • By Countries shows the manufacture's distribution sites (e.g. PARTcommunity Maps / RFQ Feature, in 3Dfindit under "About the manufacturer"). The objective is to offer the user an effective product procurement near his own location.

  • By Functionality delivers filters like "Cutting", "Adjusting", "Clamping", "Closing", etc.

    The respective selection is displayed in the line of navigation path.
